Leon Masaire is the founding member of Melicity Security. He ventures into professional Security with vast experience in the security fraternity. His background was made rich during the time he was a police officer for ten years. During the time in the police force he worked in many sections among others, Charge Office, Administration, Investigations, Traffic and Community Relations. Through hard work and commitment to duty he won the first price for the Community Relations Liaison Officer Cop of the Month award in November 1997 for the entire Matabeleland North Province, comprising of both urban and rural stations then. He worked as Member In Charge Jambezi Police Post for one year before transferred to head Traffic Section in ZR Police Victoria Falls as Member in Charge for another year. After leaving the force on ten years gratuity he joined PG Industries under DST as Risk officer responsible for all loss and risk related issues covering 16 branches across the country for five (5) years. From PG he joined Volsec Security Company and worked for one year in the capacity of Operations Manager. From 2007 to 2015, Mr. Masaire has been a lecturer at the Training and Education Research Services College in collaboration with Zimbabwe Institute of Management where he lectured Security Practice 1 to 3 from Certificate to Advanced level. At Advanced Level he also lectured Risk and Loss Control Management as well as Auditing. From 2015 to date he is a lecturer at the Institute of Certified Loss Management. He teaches Loss Management 1, Loss Management 2, Investigations and Risk Management 2 and Advanced Security Management. He is also did BA in English and Communication Studies with Zimbabwe Open University
